I think a lot of people are in the same boat.  Personally, I think any new long-term project should be WPF instead of WinForms,  but that's me.

Great to hear MS are still developing Cider, we'd like to be using WPF for our LOB (Line of business) apps but until the designer is as RAD as the WinForms one it's not going to happen.
