Creating a map with WPF

I just read an excellent new article on the CodeProject which discusses how to draw a map with WPF.   It’s not just about creating maps, but can be applied to creating layered representations of geographic regions (boundaries, roads, lakes, etc).  It reads in data from something called an ESRI Shapefile and creates a visual representation from that data using WPF’s drawing API and transformations.  Without further ado… WPF Application for Importing ESRI Shapefiles
